Acting for the energy transition

As part of the transformation of the existing premises into a positive energy building (BEPOS), it is planned to install sets of photovoltaic modules by car:

• Office roofing: A 36 kWp generator representing 250 m2 of solar panels.
• Roof of the workshop: A generator of 100 kWp representing 700 m2 of solar panels.

A total surface area of 950 m² of photovoltaic material, representing:

• 75 tons of CO2 avoided per year
• The annual energy consumption of 181 inhabitants

It is in the heart of Greater Toulouse, an agglomeration of more than 720 000 inhabitants, welcoming more than 9000 new residents each year, that the company BATISUN 2 will become the owner of a building, soon BEPOS.

This dynamic metropolis, driven by the aeronautics and space sector (No. 1 in Europe) and by the medical research sector (creation of the Oncopole and the Cancer-Bio-Health pole) is performing well in terms of job creation In 2012, there was a gain of 1.9% and 1.4% in 2013.

Toulouse has also 2 027 hours of sunshine a year (in average).
